Autodesk® MotionBuilder® 2011 software delivers features that enable it
to integrate more smoothly and reliably into production pipelines. With
extended animation layers that closely match those in Autodesk® Maya®
2011 software, a more consistent method for handling materials, and
native support for Autodesk® FBX® 2011 asset exchange technology,
artists will find it easier to use MotionBuilder 2011 alongside certain
other products. In addition, skinning and blendshape deformations are
now calculated on the GPU, the in-viewport experience is significantly
more interactive, and playback many times faster, while the Story Tool
offers greater stability and performance.

The Autodesk® Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk® MotionBuilder®
2011 software provides new tools to better facilitate virtual
moviemaking and performance animation.
Features:
* Live video in—Stream reference video from a mocap session directly
into Autodesk® MotionBuilder® software and record simultaneously with
the motion capture data on a per-take basis.
* Real-time curve filtering—Apply a low-pass filter in real time for higher-quality live motion output.
* Audio per take—More easily deal with multiple animation variations
that each have associated audio, with the ability to handle separate
audio files per take.
* Motion path up vector control—Assign an up vector to cameras and
objects attached to a motion path, helping to prevent accidental
flipping.
